FICA treinel Dija in London - Classes on Thursday,(13th) Saturday (15th) and Sunday (16th)

Dija or Aldjaie is visiting us and FICA London for a few days. We have known Dija for a long time and seen him grow in Capoeira from his first classes as a young boy. He is now a mature and seasoned teacher -often leading classes in FICA Bahia.

He is still a young Capoeista (born in 1991) from the Fundacao Internacional de Capoeira Angola (FICA) in Salvador. He became Treinel at the last FICA Capoeira Conference in Salvador Bahia with his brother Aloan and others.

He started capoeira when he was quite young - which is not so surprising once you know he is also Mestre Valmir's son. His talent shined through from his first steps of ginga.

He has a fluid, graceful and at times acrobatic style of playing Capoeira. He loves to play Berimbao and has started a youtube lesson channel if you want to take a look. Alongside his brother Aloan (who was also in London before) he makes up part of Bahia's Capoeira Angola young blood.

He will be giving music class on Thursdays and then workshops on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

Take a look at the videos below to get a sense of how he plays and sings.
